TR Integrity Testing (PFEER)
Temporary Refuge Pressurisation
RVHM undertake TR Module Pressurisation & Leakage Testing to establish the TR integrity / leakage value, giving results that can be compared with HSE guidelines and the Platforms Safety Case.
A detailed report is produced & should the result exceed the HSE guidelines any areas of TR impairment can be identified using our thermal imaging equipment.
Such as:-
- Bulkhead Corrosion
- Bulkhead Transits
- Door Seals
- Duct Corrosion
- Fire Dampers
- Un-trapped Drains

The Offshore Installations (Prevention of Fire & Explosion & Emergency Response ‘PFEER’ Regulations 1995) places a duty on Offshore Operators to demonstrate compliance of all Temporary Refuges (TR’s) in meeting acceptable air leakage standards.
